Description
I had put the camera (Sony A7r) away for the day and was walking home through New York City's famous West Village area. It was getting late and I was kinda huddled over, as one does to keep the rain off, and scurrying along to get home before I got soaked. But then I came to this corner. I just had to stop and out came the camera again. I put my back against a wall and took a dozen shots most of which were blurred because of the low light. But a couple were good and here's my favorite!

Chris Lord replied:
It was actually chilly and somewhat damp but I'm happy the results are otherwise :-) Thanks so much Diane, especially for the f/l. I am so happy that you enjoyed it. Cheers

Love this one Chris.
Chris Lord replied:
I almost didn't stop Ngel. It was a bit cold. I was underdressed, not expecting rain and it had been a long day. The camera was packed up and I was heading home as fast as I could. I am so glad I gave in to my intuition for a change and spent the time to get the shot. It's a personal favorite of mine too now. Thanks very much, cheers

I'm an Englishman through and through but I've been here for over 40 years and I couldn't even think of leaving! I consider myself so lucky to have this wonderful city on my doorstep especially since having retired I now have the time to really enjoy it. Thanks so much for the compliment, I'm real happy that you enjoyed it. Cheers.
