My goodness Chris, that is one incredible image; I love the rain coming down in the distance, the wonderful warm glow as the sun sets....and I would love to be on that pier fishing (or shooting) during this magical moment that you have so skillfully captured!!!

This is excellent Chris, great composition, wonderful light and those 2 pelicans really set it off. L/F

Chris Lord replied:

I had gone to the beach area to shoot the sunset but as happened every time I did that while visiting out there the sun disappeared into a layer of cloud that just came up out of nowhere an hour before sunset. I was pleased that I managed to get anything at all. I'm glad you liked this Brian, thanks so much.

Chris Lord replied:

Once again I went to the beach to photograph a sunset and once again the clouds appeared from nowhere right before sunset but I got lucky and got this instead, pleased you liked it Tami. Thanks very much for the visit and great comment, cheers

Hey that's Ocean Beach! I live 5 blocks from that spot. Congratulations on picking a time and day to get the unoccupied spot. I'm gonna guess that you didn't catch anything ;O) At least I never do. Well at least you "caught" a great shot. f/v

Chris Lord replied:

Luckily I was there only for the photographs, no fish. I was hoping to "catch" a great sunset but as it did every time I tried while I was there the sun vanished into a cloud bank on the horizon. It was a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky then a half hour before sunset up pop a whole lot of clouds.Every time! Oh well :-) Sorry this is a bit late as a response and thanks very much for a great comment, cheers
