Chris, the work in your gallery is astounding, I really enjoyed looking, I especially loved, "longing for Spring. Such a romantic piece.
Chris Lord replied:
This is the result of one of those occasions when one doesn't have a final result in mind and just starts to play. So a little bit of serendipity at work here. Very happy that you enjoyed it, thanks for saying so. Cheers.

OOO Chris ... this is soooo lovely!!!!!!!!!! I'm just in awe of the detail you've captured ... every time I try to get these guys a wind comes up and there goes the detail!!!!! Haul out the tripod, open up that aperture and wait for the wind to die down, eh???? By the way, the use of the texture here is beautifully done!!!!!! Faved for sure!!!
Chris Lord replied:
Shot the Cherry blossoms a couple of years ago in Brooklyn Botanical Garden. There is just tons of it there in season. I have bought several tripods over the years but never bother to lug one around! Glad you like this one Lois, thanks very much indeed for another great comment. Cheers.

Lovely photo. Crabapple blossoms? We had a crabapple tree with blossoms like this when I was a child. And congrats for having the 1,000 artwork to be posted in the Textures, Textures, Textured Group. I am going to Feature this on the Group's Homepage.
Chris Lord replied:
Cherry blossoms on top of some lilacs actually, originally shot in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. I really appreciate your nice comment and a huge thank you for featuring this image. That's just so encouraging and very exciting. Cheers.
