This trend started out during the 60s in the days of the Mods and Rocker riots. The old guys are still riding them down to Brighton remembering the old days. For the most part the scooters choose a different weekend than the bikers these days so no more fighting thank the gods! The day I sgot this there were thousands of scooters everywhere you looked but this one was one of the best. Glad you liked it Tami, thanks very much.

It was a lot of fun and got the memories going too to see these aging guys with their 60s machines all along the seafront. Took me back aways! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment, cheers.

There were thousands of scooters that weekend and two weeks later the town was full of motorbikes. When I was a youngster they would all arrive together and total war would break out. Thank god they all grew too old for that. But they still ride the scooters and bikes down to Brighton just like in Quadrophenia days!. You should see all these old chaps all decked out!
