Description
Construction of the original Seaford, East Sussex, UK, church building is thought to have started within twenty years of the Norman Conquest in 1066. Parts of the building are Norman and much is Early English, giving the interior a stunning atmosphere of arches and pillars which has witnessed to faith for over 900 years.

Although I have no interest in religion whatsoever I do find these old stone churches in England quite fascinating. Built many years in the past but still used and surviving they each have their own character and differences. I like that this one has a tall chimney on that piece jutting out towards us so it's the only one I've seen with some form of heating! Much thanks as always Meg, cheers
