Karon DeVega
such a beautiful work with a delightful vintage flavour, by choosing square format for publication of this lovely work, it gives additional impact and so very much adds to the visual appeal and balance of the finished work. Well done Chris, wonderful work! ~ Featured on the group home page SQUARE Composition Photography and Art June 2012

Instantly this brings to mine the poem by Yeats "Leda and the Swan" v/f
Chris Lord replied:
Never realized Yeats wrote a poem about that couple, I know about the mythology from the Greeks. I have a photo somewhere of a wonderful statue dedicated to them that I found planted in the center of a small lake at an English stately home. Leda is a ballerina on tippy toes and the swan is wrapped around her neck in a very peculiar way! Those gods got up to all manner of strange stuff! Thanks for the great comment Bob, cheers.
