Chris - you just posted this picture, and look how many comments already! It is a great photo in so many ways, love it, just hope it was the last snowfall for the year!

Chris Lord replied:

It wasn't but I do think we are done now. I love shooting in the snow but the 8-mile walk I did that day got me soaked to the skin and caused the rear screen on my Sony to fail so I had to take it in for repair. It was so worth it though for the pics I got that day! Much pleased that you enjoyed this one Steve, thank you very much indeed.

I'm so glad you added this one Chris .. one of my top favorites of that series .... just such fabulous color and mood and the interest of the person in the distance with the umbrella just puts the icing on the cake. Fabulous, fabulous piece!!!!! l/f t and p

I love the tones and atmosphere and snow and that lone umbrella'd figure! Gorgeous work! l/f!

Chris Lord replied:

That eight-mile walk around town in the snow destroyed the rear screen on my camera which now has to get fixed and I got soaked to the skin! But it was so worth it for the fun pics I collected that day! Glad you liked this one Meg, thanks so very much.
