Wonderfully captured. The use of the b/w really helps to evoke the feeling. l/f.
Chris Lord replied:
That was a winter that I really enjoyed the snow and cold weather. Such fun when you are dressed for it and feeling up to it. Thanks very much for the kind words Joy, much appreciated.

This is wonderful Chris! The black and white fits the romantic image perfectly! It's like a scene out of Love Story, terrific! f/l
Chris Lord replied:
Damn, Love Story, that takes me back. I read the book on the platform waiting for a train in Milan back in '71 after proposing to my first wife down in Bologna! I was on the way back to Zurich to finish up my year there. What a life! Anyhow back to the present, I think it was a bit too cold out there by the Brooklyn Bridge that day. These two must have been deeply in young love! Thank you for the great comment Tami, Cheers.

Meg Shearer
Beautiful shot! I love the contrasts, and it's perfect in b&w! (b&whiteout?) Wonderful! L/F!
Chris Lord replied:
It's so easy to just sit around the house in the winter time working on the computer etc. I have to force myself to get bundled up and go out before my legs atrophy! :-) But when I do it's so worth it. New York in bad weather is a treasure trove of images waiting to be made. Even if you freeze to get them! Your compliments make freezing worthwhile Meg, thank you very much again.

Wow! This is excellent, Chris! L/F
Chris Lord replied:
Sometimes it's worth it to get up and go out in the snow! It was a great day out there and that couple were a great bonus. Thanks very much Kellice, that's greatly appreciated
Pete Hemington
Excellent moody image and so good with the figures
Chris Lord replied:
Thanks Pete, it was a good day for shooting even if I froze my backside off! Cheers.
