Description
This beautiful vintage silver WWII bomber aircraft known as Yankee Lady is on final approach to land at Republic Airport in Famingdale, N.Y. She is coming in close and fast, landing gear and flaps down against a backdrop of the setting sun.
I had to jump out of a still-moving car to grab this exposure, luckily my full frame 50mp Canon EOS 5DSR was already in my hand and turned on or I would have still missed the shot.
