Great picture. My mum had a singer. She used to make all our clothes on it.

Chris Lord replied:

My Mum had an old one too, but she spent more time cursing it for not working right than actually fixin' things with it! :-) Thanks very much for visiting Jacqui, greatly appreciated, cheers.

This is very cool, Chris. I had a vintage Singer at one point, but it was a much smaller version of this one. I wonder where it went?

Chris Lord replied:

Hi Mary, pleased that you liked it. This is certainly a large commercial machine, wonder if it still even works? I remember my mother had an old singer too, I tried to use it a couple of times as a teenager but with little success. I don't remember what I was up to at the time, just trying to get it to work and the little collections of bobbins and strange parts. :-) Thanks very much for a great comment, cheers.
