Chris I read your comments on the history of this old ship. You have done a fine job in immortalizing this beauty and bringing out the most glorious colors and textures. I absolutely love this image! The editing and process reminds me of a vintage colorized postcard. I will be following you! F/V

I'm quite delighted that you took the time to browse my Maritime galley Kym and especially pleased that you liked what you found. Thank you so much for letting me know and for that f/v, much appreciated, cheers.

Thanks very much Betsy, I really appreciate that. Especially the f/v of course :-) I hope they haven't sold the old girl for scrap yet! Cheers.

Fantastic photograph of a grand old ship. Hope she ends up here in Olympia, WA someday soon.
Chris Lord replied:
This picture unfortunately doesn't really show how she is bristling with guns. They are sticking out of special ports and turrets all over the ship. She must have been a formidable adversary in her time and now she is about to be abandoned. I do hope she finds a home somewhere but I very much doubt she could make it across the entire country. It would be a marvel if she managed to sail around it!! Thanks very much Larry, cheers.

Awesome work on this shot Chris! It would be a shame if it was scrapped.
Chris Lord replied:
Makes me wish once again that I was as rich as that Microsoft guy so I could save her. But one can live in hope, right? Thanks very much for the nice compliment. Cheers.
