Ah but your birds on the wires are so fabulous Chris - just love the delicate colors echoed in the feathering. Wow - this is lovely.

That's so very nice of you Lianne, thanks. I posted this on Flickr last night in the Meetup group and was amazed to see it was already there. Well not quite but almost. Another photographer had an image of the same sparrow on the same wire in exactly the same placement and pose but his version was B

There is a big wire sculpture and bird feeder thing up on the Highline and the sparrows just love it. (also the Mockingbird!) I caught this guy checking me out right there. He posed just long enough for me to get a couple of shots I had a bit of fun here with a couple of Leslie's artistic textures. Nice soft colors, makes a change for me! thanks Lois, cheers.
